Holiday Blues?

I just can’t seem to find any spirit so far this holiday season.

Normally I look forward to Christmas and all the things that lead up to it, but I’m just not feeling it this year.

I am not in the least bit excited about Christmas shopping which is usually loads of fun for me. I can’t even come up with gift ideas for people in the first place, which is something I am always pretty good at.

I dunno.

My birthday is on Friday too, and I honestly don’t want to do anything for it.
Like literally, nothing at all.
I just don’t feel like there’s anything to celebrate this year. And nothing’s really wrong per se, besides some ongoing health issues, so there’s no real reason for feeling like this.
But I do, so there it is.

Maybe it’s just a mild case of the winter blues.

Maybe I’m coming upon some life changes or something.

Maybe I’m working too much and it’s finally taking it’s toll.

Maybe I’m turning into the Grinch?
